For the first time ever, I tried to pull the sword from the stone beside the carousel!
Needless to say, it didn't budge haha
Then, we decided that we wanted to ride Mine Train, but there was a 75-minute wait time. So we decided to go see if there were any FastPasses left for it. Obviously that was going to be a long shot, but whats the harm in trying?
We get to the kiosk, and this was what we ended up with (you get to choose from things that have FastPasses left).
My first FP+!!!!
We headed to go see Mickey Mouse first since we had about 30 minutes until that FastPass started. The amazing thing about this Mickey Mouse is that he TALKS!!!!!!!! His mouth moves and everything! I had the character attendant video the whole encounter, but since this blog is lame and won't upload videos, I'll have to upload it to my YouTube account or something so everyone can witness that awesomeness! But for now, here's a picture we took with him!
We also met Tinkerbell!!
Before we went into the building to meet these two awesome characters, we watched as they lowered the American Flag for the day. Here's all the pictures I took during the ceremony!
The Barbershop Quartet sang happy birthday to this little girl before she led everyone in the Pledge and before they sang the National Anthem!
Here comes the Philharmonic Marching Band!
Lowering the flag
The lady in the black shirt is part of the military and was asked to carry the flag after it was lowered and folded.
The band and everyone else involved walking down Main Street after the ceremony.
Another thing that I can mark off my bucket list is one of the parades that goes down through Main Street, U.S.A.!!! This would be the Move it! Shake it! Celebrate It! Parade! It's a pretty small parade, but it's still a a parade nonetheless!
We had a front row seat!!!
Mickey and Minnie Mouse!!
So AWESOME!
Chip, Dale, and GENIE!!
Baloo and King Louie!
Well, hey there, Goofy!
Woody and Jessie!
Lumiere looked right at me!!!!!
Mr. Incredible and FroZone!
We decided to walk behind the parade and it made of feel like we were a part of it!! haha
We ran into this sign, and I HAD to take a picture:
Then, we went back over to Tomorrowland to do our FastPass on Space Mountain, but unfortunately it was broken down when we got there. Luckily they said that our FastPasses would be honored even if it was after our time slot, so we decided to go do other things and try again later.
We were walking away when I noticed that a character was over in the corner....it was BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!!
I HAD to get a picture with him!!!
And the only thing to do after you meet Buzz Lightyear??
Ride his ride, of course!!!
Again...determination!!!
Our third and final FastPass (Meeting Cinderella and Rapunzel) was coming up soon, but we still had about an hour or so before it started, so we decided to go see PhilharMagic!
It's a 4-D show where Donald doesn't listen to Mickey when he tells him to leave his Sorcerer's hat alone, and then Donald gets sucked into a bunch of Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin. He must retrieve the hat before he returns to the "real world." It's a pretty cute show. It took us forever to get in though. Not sure what the hold up was, but we probably waited nearly 20 minutes for the doors to open and the show is barely 10 minutes long.
After PhilharMagic, we went over to our final FastPass area and checked in!
Rapunzel wasn't as great this time, but Cinderella was TEN THOUSAND TIMES BETTER!!! She made a video for my sweet niece, Scarlett, and actually seemed to enjoy it!
Then she asked me if I wanted to make a heart for our picture with our hands!!!
Ahhhhh I died!
After this, we cashed in on our Space Mountain FastPass!
Why am I always so awkward in these pictures?! haha
That wraps it up for this blog post! Have a wonderful night!
I JUST LOVE!!!!!!! That parade!! it can make the nastiest person happy!
