On Tuesday, December 9, I "graduated" from the college program.
I put quotations around the word "graduated" because I'm not officially finished here. I still have 24 days as of today. BUT Disney threw us all a graduation party complete with Disney Graduation ears, certificates, a memory box, food, music, and characters!!!
Lookin' too cool for school in my sunglasses and Mickey grad ears!
Holding up my certificate of completion!
Right after I got my ears, certificate, and memory box, I said hello to a friend and then decided to hop in line to get a picture with Mickey and Minnie Mouse because the picture above is merely a fraction of what the line really looked like (pretty much triple the line in that picture!)
I'm embarrassed to even say how long I waited in this line....I'll reveal that later!
Here's the area where everyone sat and ate Sonny's BBQ! Some of the best baked beans and sweet tea I've had in a LOOONNNNGGGG time!
I found my friend/coworker, Hannah!!!
And my other friend/coworker, Ali!!
The moment finally came for me to get my picture taken with my boss and his wife!
So you really want to know how long it waited in that line to meet them?
......TWO HOURS!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I know....craziness...
Of course I had to do the typical throw-your-graduation-cap-ears-in-the-air picture!
Goofy and Pluto were also at the graduation, but by the time I got my picture taken with Mickey and Minnie, they had cut the lines off for character meet and greets. Daisy and Donald were there as well.
On December 11, Disney threw the college programmers, or CPs for short, a winter formal dance! The theme was "Once Upon a Time, Good and Evil." This was a very fun night to just let loose and have some fun with everyone!
There was awesome music and food, fun characters, and endless memories made.
Someone posted this on facebook and I thought it fit the occasion pretty well!
I was trying to stand on one foot (that foot being in a 5-inch heel) to show off my shoes, but I kept falling over.
Solution? Take the heel off and try again! It worked this time!
AND my hair was stick straight. I could tell that the night was going to be lots of fun!
Here's a better view of my dress! Who needs a boy date when you have awesome friends like mine to go to the dance with???
As soon as we got there, I found my friend, Autumn! She and I trained together in the beginning of our program and have shared some pretty awesome times throughout our time here!
THE MAGIC MIRROR ON THE WALL!!!!!!!! Of course I had to get a picture with it!
And you know I had to ask him who was the fairest of them all.... ;)
The next character I was dying to meet was Hades. He was the ONE character I was really hoping would be there. Here he is facing off with Jafar and trying to get Jafar to get out of there so he can greet his adoring fans properly.
"Two thumbs WAY way up for our leading lady...very nice." I love the movie Hercules!
Group pictures!!!!
Found my lovely friend, Jackelinne!!!
Saw the Evil Queen from Snow White. She basically looked down on everyone walking around her as if they were peasants...naturally haha
I loved the light decorations on the wall. This is the "good" side of the room.
So cute! I love being a cast member!!!!!!
I saw this on a poster as we were leaving the dance. Walt Disney is my absolute hero and idol. Without him, none of this would be possible. I owe a lot of the great times in my life to him!
Thank you for reading about my adventures I've been on this week. I honestly cannot believe that in just a little over 3 weeks, I will be packing up and leaving this magical place. I hope I am able to come back and visit very soon!
